Furnace Bottom & Sidewall Insulating Blocks

Introduction

Insulation blocks give furnace designer more choices on specific area to reduce mortar joints and significant fuel & labor savings. Large scale machine shop at the factory is capable of supplying accurate machined slabs & shapes.
FJM series insulation blocks are produced according to ASTM standard, extrusion to shape, grind to size, which have characters of low density, low thermal conductivity, accurate size tolerance with +/-1mm.
FLG135-1.25 grade insulation block is medium strength block with typical 10MPa CCS, the blocks are shape by mould, grind to size, which can reach accurate size tolerance with +/-1mm.
FLG130-1.30 grade blocks are made from selected fine raw material, pressed to shape. The block have ultra high strength with 20MPa cold crushing strength. Due to no grind after sinter, the blocks dimension tolerance is a bit bigger.

Application

Glass furnace sidewall and bottom insulation, port insulation, tin bath roof, etc. Ceramics roller kiln, tunnel kiln, pusher kiln, etc. Other industrial furnaces where less mortar joint is required.

Silicon Carbide Bricks
Silicon Carbide Bricks (SiC Bricks)
Silicon carbide bricks are primarily made from silicon carbide (SiC) as the main raw material. Since SiC forms covalent bonds, it does not exhibit typical sintering behavior. Instead, sintering is achieved through the formation of new phases via chemical reactions, known as reaction sintering.

Penetrating High-Efficiency Reinforcing Modifier
The Penetrating High-Efficiency Reinforcing Modifier is a liquid treatment designed to strengthen refractory fibers, lightweight bricks, and dense castables from the inside out. Unlike conventional surface coatings, it deeply penetrates the substrate, forming a gradient density structure that resists cracking, delamination, and thermal shock. By sealing surface pores, it improves thermal efficiency, reduces gas absorption, and prevents metal infiltration. Tailored formulations are available for different materials (fibers, bricks, and dense refractories), making it highly versatile across industries such as steel, petrochemical, ceramics, and metal smelting.
