Firebird’s FJM Series Insulating Firebricks (IFBs) are high-quality lightweight insulation refractory bricks
crafted from a blend of pure refractory clays, select alumina, and specially graded organic fillers. These
fillers burn out during production, resulting in a controlled and consistent pore structure.
Manufactured through casting, extrusion, or foaming methods, the bricks are sintered in natural gas-powered tunnel kilns. After undergoing meticulous grinding for accurate dimensions, the IFBs are securely
packed on ISPM15 or non-fumigation plywood pallets.
From standard straight, arch, and block shapes to bespoke designs, our manufacturing capabilities
cater to your unique project needs
FLG135-1.20 Grade:A medium-strength insulating block with a benchmark 10MPa Cold Crushing Strength (CCS). These blocks, shaped using specialized molds, are finely ground to achieve dimensional accuracy within a tolerance of +/-1mm.
FLG130-1.30 Grade:Crafted from select, high-quality raw materials, these blocks stand out with their impressive 20MPa CCS. Pressed to shape, these blocks demonstrate exceptional strength. However, as they’re not subjected to post-sinter grinding, their dimensional tolerance is slightly higher.
FLG Series Insulating Refractory Bricks are versatile and ideal for hot face refractory lining or back-up insulation in various industries, including:
• Chemical & Petrochemical: Kilns, flues, refining vessels, heaters, reactor chambers.
• Glass: Melters, regenerators, tin baths, distributors, tempering furnaces.
• Ceramics: Roller kilns, tunnel kilns, shuttle kilns, electricity furnace.
• Aluminum: Anode baking furnaces, primary electrolytic cells.
• Lithium-ion Battery: Cathode and anode furnaces.
• Iron & Steel: Coke ovens, blast furnaces, hot blast stoves, reheating furnaces, bright metal annealingfurnaces.
• Industrial Furnaces: Carburizing furnaces, heat treating furnaces, electronic product furnaces, refractory sintering furnaces.
